Today, I left my fun, beautiful home on Lake Murray in Leesville, to go spend a week with my new friend Beth and her dogs Jackson and Madison. It took us about 45 minutes to get to Beth's house, so I took a nap. I've gotten carsick in the past, but not tonight :)
When I got to Beth's house, she showed me around and spent some time with me in her big chair! I love sitting in big chairs with my favorite people :)
The two cats, Zeb and Quinten, came over to check me out. I didn't chase them and they seemed to like that. Zeb decided to park himself on the arm of the chair and hang out with us for a while.
Later on I went outside with Beth to explore the backyard. There are so many things that I need to check out!! But I was a little preoccupied with Wilson, the Coondog next door. I can't see him through the fence, but I surely can hear him!!
Next I got to meet Jackson the Irish Setter. He is super tall and has long red hair. He was really friendly and immediately wanted to play. I was a little bit shy, but that didn't bother him. He played with Beth and made fetching his toys seem like so much fun, that I decided to play too!!
All in all, it was a great introduction to Beth's house and her family. I am looking forward to having more fun with everyone this week!!
